About our collection.

The NMFSH manages its own collection of more than 20,000 artifacts, records, publications, documents, and memorabilia relating to the history, programs, activities and culture of the Forest Service. Through a Memorandum of Understanding with the Forest Service, the NMFSH also manages the Forest Service Collection, comprised of an additional 20,000 objects.
